I love this book!

It was the one Christmas present I really wanted the year it was first published, and I was so thrilled when "Santa" actually came through!

What is your favorite memory from the book? For me, it's probably imagining the tiny houses.

I just adored that someone had taken the time to write a whole book all about the gnomes lives, and their clothes, and their tools, and their food, and everything. I do remember that this book is the first time I'd ever heard of fennel, though. And now every time I watch a cooking show, and they use fennel, I think about the gnomes. :)
